Nigeria forward, Victor Boniface registered one goal and an assist as Bayer Leverkusen defeated Werder Bremen to win their first Bundesliga title.
Boniface was handed his first start this year by manager Xabi Alonso after hitting target in the Europa League win over West Ham United on Thursday.
The striker put Die Werkself ahead from the spot in the 25th minute.
The 23-year-old teed up Granit Xhaka for the second goal on the hour mark.
Florian Writz made the scoreline more emphatic with the third goal eight minutes later.
Boniface, who has now scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in 27 games across all competitions for Leverkusen this season was replaced by Patrik Schick in the 62nd minute.
His international teammate, Nathan Tella was also in action for 62 minutes in the game.
