Controversial Lekki Church, Harvesters Int’l caught Harassing Passersby (Video)

A well-known church in Lekki, Harvesters International, widely recognized for its vast membership and engaged community, finds itself engulfed in a scandal as allegations of harassment towards unsuspecting passersby surface.

The victim who is an entrepreneur by name Kemi Umoh was manhandled by the security guards of Harvesters Intl Church,  leaving wounds all over his body. He is currently receiving medical attention in a private hospital.

According to the victim, he had simply stopped by to seek shelter from the scorching sun when the security officers approached him. Despite his attempts to explain, they embarrassed and manhandled him.

Information reaching us is that several attempts to reach out to the church official page has proven abortive, they chose to ignore messages even though it was clear that they had read the content.

It is disheartening to see a church resorting to employing thugs as security personnel. One cannot help but wonder if this is their chosen approach to spreading the message of Christ and winning souls for Him.

We are using this platform to invite the church leadership and the head of their security team to explain the impactful evangelism carried out by their ambassador towards a struggling young man on the streets of Lagos.

We are reaching out to the general public, the Christian Association of Nigeria Lagos State chapter, and the entire Christian community.

We kindly request your assistance in contacting the church, the pastor, as well as the individuals involved in the altercation, to ensure that the victim who was injured during the missionary work receive the necessary medical attention.

The young man involved is currently going through a difficult time as the incident has sparked doubt in the young man’s mind about the role of the church serving as a Hospital to the sick.

The Harvesters International Ministry has some explanation to make.

Time will tell.
