NPFL: Ogunmodede anticipates tough tests for Remo Stars in title race

Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede says his team face an uphill task in their next two fixtures in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Sky Blue Stars will face Doma United and Plateau United away in week 30 and 31 respectively.

Ogunmodede said that the game against the Savannah Tigers will be tough considering their long winless run.

He is also expecting a difficult test against Plateau United because of the Jos club’s title aspirations.

“Our next two games in the league will be very tough for us,” he told the club’s media.

“Doma United is coming back after a long streak of winless results; you know what it means when they went to Uyo to pick the vital points against Akwa United.

“What Doma United did to Akwa United is the response to what we got in the win over Akwa United on matchday 29 as they want to come back to make up for the defeat against Doma United which wasn’t possible.

“So we are also going to Jos to face Plateau United who are also a title contender. We have two difficult away matches.
