Former Liverpool striker, Daniel Sturridge, is backing the Reds to win the Premier League title this season ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp’s men can go back to the top on Sunday with a win at Manchester United.
Ahead of the game, Arsenal lead the way with 71 points, one more than Liverpool and City.
Klopp guided the Anfield side to their first league title in 30 years in 2020 and will hope to mark his final season at Anfield with another Premier League trophy.
“Man City’s experience will play a big part but at the same time Arsenal are hungry, they want it. It would be a first title for most of these players so they’re hungry and believe they can do it after what happened last season.
“Liverpool have recently won the Premier League but want to do it again in Jurgen’s last season. So the intangibles are there for each team really. Man City are playing for history but there’s so much at stake for the other two as well, “Sturridge said on NBS Sports.
When pressed on his title prediction, Sturridge added: “I’m going to go with Liverpool. It’s not bias! That’s just what my gut is saying right now.”
