Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has singled out Emile Smith Rowe for praise following their 2-0 win over Luton on Wednesday.
Smith Rowe forced a Daiki Hashioka own goal after Martin Odegaard opened the scoring at the Emirates.
The England midfielder played 84 minutes before he was replaced by Jorginho.
Arteta, speaking on Smith Rowe, said: “I was really impressed with him. He has been training really well and we felt the game could suit us.
“Really pleased for the boys who came in. It is a busy month, we have started well again after an international break and next is Brighton.”
