Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that top defender Marcos Alonso will leave Barcelona this summer.
In a tweet via his X handle on Monday, Romano said the decision for Alonso to leave Barcelona as a free agent has been made.
“Understand Marcos Alonso will leave Barcelona as free agent at the end of the current season,” He tweeted.
“Massive respect between club and player but he’s leaving in June, decision made.”
He added, “Sergi Roberto could also leave for free but final decision will also depend on Xavi’s future.”
Alonso joined Barcelona from Chelsea in 2022.
