Zimbabwe forward, Marshall Munetsi says the Warriors can’t dwell too much on the 0-0 draw against Rwanda.
Baltemar Brito’s men couldn’t break down their opponent’s defence at the Huye Stadium on Wednesday despite dominating the game for a long spell.
The Warriors will entertain the star-studded Super Eagles at the same ground on Sunday.
Munetsi stated that they must now focus on the game against Jose Peseiro’s Nigeria.
“Playing on an artificial turf was difficult for us. We expected it to be tough, we created a lot of chances but we couldn’t capitalise on it,” the Stade de Reims player told the country’s official football website.
“It’s part of the game, we didn’t train much after having a long suspension from football.
“I believe this is a good starting point for us. it’s a point from home. We will take it and look forward to the next game against Nigeria on Sunday”
