Jude Bellingham has warned that his new England team-mate, Kobbie Mainoo, must be handled with care.
The Real Madrid midfielder was speaking after Mainoo shone on his full Three Lions debut against Belgium.
Bellingham scored with the last kick of the game, as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Belgium on Tuesday night.
His midfield partner Mainoo enjoyed an impressive debut and is now in the Euro 2024 conversation.
But Bellingham has cautioned that Mainoo should be allowed to grow at his own pace.
He told Channel 4: “He was good tonight. It’s difficult.
“I’m speaking like the old head here, but I know how hard it can be when there’s a clamour and people put a lot of pressure on you, so I don’t want to add fuel to the fire.
“But he’s definitely a brilliant player and he’s going to have an amazing future at Man Utd and hopefully for England as well.”
