Enyimba assistant coach Olanrewaju Yemi has expressed disappointment with the team’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Doma United on Wednesday.
Hilary Ekawu’s 19-minute strike condemned the defending champions to their third defeat of the season.
Yemi, however, commended the team for their impressive performance in the game.
He also assured the team will build on the performance in their next two fixtures against Lobi Stars.
“The game was a good match as it was one of the best away games we have played this season ,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“It’s so painful we couldn’t pick a point from our last two away games.
“The tempo and the energy were good from the players even though we conceded early in the game.
“We have to build on this performance for our next game against Lobi Stars.”
