Wikki Tourists head coach, Azeez Audu says his team will work on the lapses identified in the defeat to Nasarawa United.
The Bauchi Elephants surrendered their unbeaten record, going down a 2-0 loss against Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium on Saturday.
Anas Yusuf and King Osanga scored for Solid Miners in the game.
Audu believed that his team would take the positives from the loss ahead of their subsequent games in the Nigeria National League
“That’s football, you cannot always win, you will certainly loose some and also draw some,” he said in a post-match Interview.
“This happens to be one of our bad days but in all situations we thank God.
“We have learnt a lesson from the game and we are going back home to work on the lapses identified ahead our next game.”
Wikki Tourists maintained second position on the table with 23 points.
