Retired soldier begs Tinubu to intervene in Zamfara security situation

The former Commandant of the Zamfara State Anti Thuggery Agency and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bello Bakyasuwa has appealed to President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to address the teething insecurity in Zamfara State.

Bakyasuwa said many communities in the rural areas are now bandits’ colonies, saying that there is a need for the president to intervene in the teething security challenges.

Bello Bakyasuwa, a retired soldier, lamented the escalating security challenges ravaging the entire State.

This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday in Gusau.

He said the residents of the state are aware of the security situation ravaging the state for more than a decade.
