Kano Pillars forward Ibrahim Mustapha has won the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month award for February.
Mustapha scored four goals in the month including a brace against Sunshine Stars at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
The striker increased his tally to seven in the NPFL and also reached a 60 NPFL career mark goals.
Mustapha beat Chijoke Mbaoma, Godsgift Elkanah, Nenrot Silas, Nyima Nwagua and Michael Tochukwu to the award.
Meanwhile, Bayelsa United head coach Meremu Okara won the Coach of the Month award.
Okara is winning the award for the first time in his coaching career.
In the month under review, the Prosperity Boys cruised to three consecutive wins against Gombe United, Akwa United, and Doma United, scoring five goals in the process, conceding none, and moved out of the relegation zone.
Bayelsa United currently occupy 15 position on the NPFL table after 24 games.
