Man Utd midfielder to leave club over lack of game time

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly set to leave the club this summer due to a lack of game time under manager Erik ten Hag.

Danish outlet Ekstrabladet (via TEAMTalk) has reported that Eriksen knows his time at Old Trafford has come to an end as he has been overtaken by younger players like Kobbie Mainoo, Scott McTominay, and loanee Sofyan Amrabat in Ten Hag’s pecking order.

Despite being a regular starter under the former Ajax coach last season, the former Inter Milan star has started just 11 of 20 games across competitions this season, with only one goal and two assists to his name.

Eriksen feels that he’s been deemed ‘surplus to requirements’ and is set to make his wish to depart clear.
