Four top managers have been shortlisted for the Nigeria Premier Football League Coach of the month award for February.
The quartet are Fidelis Ilechukwu (Rangers), Mangut Mbwas (Plateau United), Meremu Okara (Bayelsa United) and Paul Offor (Sporting Lagos).
Offor’s Sporting Lagos recorded three wins and one defeat in the month.
The young tactician guided the modest club away from the relegation zone after a sloppy end to the first half of the season.
Mbwas’ free scoring Plateau United side netted seven goals in February.
The Peace Boys were unbeaten in the month with two wins and a draw.
Okara spearheaded Bayelsa United’s resurgence in the month with three wins from three games.
The Prosperity Boys moved out of the drop zone with the results.
Meanwhile, Ogunmodede’s Remo Stars managed to pick a point in two games played in the month.
The winner of the February award will be announced later next week.
