Police commissioner, military embark on confidence-building patrol in Imo

The Commissioner of Police in the State, CP Aboki Danjuma alongside DC Operations and operatives of the State’s Special Task Force comprising the Police and Military have embarked on an intense confidence-building patrol in Orlu, Orsu and Oru East LGAs of Imo State.

The confidence-building exercise follows the recent panic and apprehension created in the state over insecurity.

The CP in a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, Henry Okoye in Owerri said the essence of the exercise is to re-engineer public trust in security agencies and foster community participation in the onslaught against crime and criminality in these areas.

While urging residents to go about their lawful businesses unhindered and without fear, the CP reassured the people of the state of the unwavering commitment of the Police and other security forces
