Ondo guber: PDP’s NWC meets with party stakeholders

The National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has urged its members in Ondo State to remain focused as the party rescues the state from the alleged incompetence of the All Progressives Congress, APC, administration.

PDP said its Acting National Chairman, Umar Iliya Damagum and other members of the NWC will be meeting with critical Party Stakeholders from Ondo State in determination to ensure the success of the party in the November 16, governorship election in the State.

This was made known in a statement by Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP on Monday.

Ologunagba said the meeting scheduled on Tuesday is in line with the approved and published timetable and schedule of activities for the Ondo State governorship election.

“In its determination to ensure the success of our great Party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 16, 2024 Governorship election in Ondo State, the Acting National Chairman, His Excellency. Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC) will be meeting with critical Party Stakeholders from Ondo State.

“The meeting is in line with the approved and published Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the Ondo State Governorship election.

“The NWC urges all members of our Party in Ondo State to remain focused as the people of Ondo State look up to the PDP to rescue the State from the stranglehold of the rudderless, incompetent and insensitive All Progressives Congress (APC) administration and entrench the much-desired transparent, development-driven and people-oriented leadership on the platform of the PDP.”
