Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has heaped praise on Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka for his display during the Gunners’ Premier League 4-1 win over Newcastle United at the weekend.
Saka scored a goal as Arsenal defeated Newcastle at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Speaking about Saka, Ferdinand described the England international as phenomenal, adding that his form has jumped up.
“Well, the goals he is scoring and the impact he is having again on the team is phenomenal, but I think the upturn in form for Arsenal has coincided with [Martine] Odegaard but also Saka,” Ferdinand said (via HITC).
“His form has jumped up again in that time, and it has started to really pick up.”
