Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has nominated Saleh Barde for appointment as the Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Disability Rights Commission.
The nomination was announced by the Speaker of the State Assembly, Mr. Danladi Jatau, during a plenary session on Monday.
In the letter which conveyed Barde’s nomination, the Speaker also announced the nomination of Tafida Adamu Jibrin, Ishaku H Manji, and Bridget A. Christopher as members of the commission.
The Speaker directed the nominees to submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitaes (CVs) to the House by Friday, February 23.
They are also expected to appear before the House for screening and possible confirmation on Monday, February 26, 2024.
