The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, has blamed himself for the departure of Cole Palmer from the club.
The Spaniard spoke ahead of Manchester City’s clash with Chelsea on Saturday.
He said he ought to have given the English star more playing time as he gave Phil Foden during his development days.
“If Palmer had the minutes I gave to Foden from the beginning, he would be at Man City,” he said.
“But I didn’t give it to him, it’s my responsibility.
“Why? Because I had Bernardo, Mahrez, Foden… it was at that moment, I chose the other ones.”
