Arsenal legend, Paul Merson has reckoned that most of Chelsea’s players aren’t ‘good enough’.
Merson stated this in a tweet via his X account on Tuesday.
This is coming after Chelsea’s Premier League 4-2 defeat to Wolves at Stamford Bridge over the weekend.
The Blues had lost 4-1 to Liverpool before the Wolves clash.
“Have to reiterate this: I started supporting Chelsea at five. My first game was 50 years ago,” Merson wrote.
“I can’t remember us getting beaten conceding four twice in a row and when I was growing up, we weren’t great.
“There are too many players that aren’t good enough.”
Chelsea currently sit in 11th position on the log with 31 points from 23 games after their latest defeat.
