A dismembered body of a young man was found in a rubbish dumpsite in the early hours of Sunday by passersby in Makurdi, Beñue State.
His hands were tied behind his back, with obvious signs of violence relating to a suspected cult clash.
DAILY POST gathered that the body of the young man is yet to identified.
The victim, who is believed to be between 20 and 25 years old and black in complexion, was found with one ear missing.
The incident occurred in the vicinity of Iorpuu Adai Street, Nyiman Layout, HUDCO quarters in Makurdi.
His assailants had placed his body in a sack before dumping it at a refuse dumping site in the town.
His body was found by people who were going to church early in the morning on Sunday.
When contacted by the Benue State Police Command spokesperson, SP, Catherine Anene, said they were yet to be informed of the incident.
