Former Aston Villa captain, Gabby Agbonlahor has identified Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic as the most overrated centre-back in Premier League history.
Vidic’s tenure at Old Trafford saw him win many trophies under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson, including five Premier League titles and a Champions League.
The Serbian made 300 appearances for the Red Devils from 2005 to 2014.
His impressive career also included a stint at Serie A giants Inter Milan after leaving Man United as a legend.
When asked to name the most overrated centre-back in Premier history, Agbonlahor told TalkSPORT recently:
“I have said it before, I didn’t find Vidic hard to play against. Whenever he came tight, I’d spin in behind him.
“I could hold the ball up against him. Other players might say differently but that is my opinion.”
