Manchester United on Friday announced that defender, Rhys Bennett will spend the rest of the season on loan at Stockport County.
Bennetth will look to gain a first taste of senior football when representing a team riding high as League Two leaders.
The 20-year-old captained the Under-18s team that lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2022.
He scored the opening goal of the final against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.
Bennett has been representing the Reds Devils in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy this term.
However, he is still yet to make his first-team bow for Erik ten Hag’s side.
“Best of luck to Rhys and we will be keeping tabs on his progress,” Man United’s statement read.
