Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand expects Manchester City to kick on and win the Premier League title, after a come-from-behind 3-2 win at Newcastle United on Saturday.
City were losing 2-1 at St James’ Park when Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench for his first league outing since August.
De Bruyne fired in a low effort to equalise and then fed Oscar Bobb with an inch-perfect pass for City’s winner.
“Watch momentum kick in now and these guys know what to do.
“These guys know when to put the pedal to the floor and it looks like now everybody is going to be looking over their shoulders and looking around and saying, they are coming.
“They know how to get the job done, they have the experience, the depth, the class, the quality and the firepower. Formidable,” Ferdinand said on TNT Sports.
