Taraba governor mourns Zulum’s spokesman, Isa Gusau

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has expressed sadness over the passing of a renowned journalist, Isa Gusau.

The late Gusau was before his death the spokesperson of Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State.

Kefas paid tributes to Gusau in a press statement made available to journalists on Friday in Jalingo by his Special Adviser on Media, Digital Communications, Emmanuel Bello.

Gusau’s demised, as stated known in the statement, is a loss not only to his professional colleagues, but to the entire people of Borno State.

Offering condolences to the family and associates of the late journalist, Kefas prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.

Highlighting Gusau’s pivotal role, the governor affirmed that his passing comes at a time when the nation and Borno State in particular require his dedicated services.

Describing Gusau as a shining example of professionalism in the media, the governor commended his exemplary record of service, from his tenure at Daily Trust Newspaper to subsequent roles in public office.

Kefas reiterated his commitment to providing a conducive working environment for media practitioners in the state, underscoring the indispensable role of the press as a valuable ally in the governance process.
