2023 WCQ: Musekiwa upbeat Zimbabwe will defeat Super Eagles

Warriors of Zimbabwe super fan Chris “Romario” Musekiwa is confident the team will do well in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe and Nigeria.

Zimbabwe will begin its quest for the FIFA 2026 World Cup finals with a clash against Rwanda on 15 November before taking on Nigeria on 19 November.

Both matches will be played at Huye Stadium in Butare, Rwanda.

“The team has a wealth of talent and experienced players whom some are playing in top leagues in the world,” Musekiwa was quoted by Zimbabwe Football Association official website.

“So as supporters we are convinced the Warriors will deliver results in Rwanda. Let’s go there with a winning mentality.”

South Africa, Benin Republic and Zimbabwe are the other teams in the group.
