EPL: Ratcliffe approaches Graham Potter to replace Ten Hag at Man Utd

Manchester United have reached out informally to Graham Potter, with a view to appointing him as Erik ten Hag’s replacement, the UK Metro reports.

Ten Hag is under increasing pressure at Old Trafford following the club’s miserable start to the season.

United have lost 12 of their 24 matches in all competitions this season.

The Red Devils finished bottom of their Champions League group, exiting the Carabao Cup to Newcastle United and currently sit in ninth place in the Premier League.

Delays over Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s investment in the club have meant United have been unable to make a decision on Ten Hag’s future.

However, INEOS’ 25 per cent stake is expected to be ratified in the next four to six weeks and they would prefer to leave Ten Hag in place until at least the end of the season to see if United can turn around their form.
