EPL: Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface in shock move to Arsenal

Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, could make a shock move to Arsenal this January window.

Boniface, who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen, is set to join up with his Nigerian team mates for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Gunners are in the market for potential forward additions this winter.

Football London reports that Boniface is one of the names under consideration.

The 23-year-old is understood to be an Arsenal fan and that could give the Premier League side a huge advantage when it comes to a potential transfer deal.

It may be a move that has to wait until the summer if it goes ahead, though.

Leverkusen are leading the way in the Bundesliga title race and will not want to give up their best striker. Although there is no sell-on fee that the German side have to adhere to, they would likely also want a significant fee.
