2026 WCQ: Zimbabwe worry on Muskwe’s fitness ahead Super Eagles clash

Zimbabwe forward, Admiral Muskwe missed training on Friday with a muscular problem and is doubtful for the Warriors’ clash with Nigeria.

Muskwe, who plays for English League One club, Exeter City, picked up the injury in Zimbabwe’s 0-0 draw against Rwanda on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old will be further assessed on Saturday (today) to determine whether he will be able to face the Super Eagles.

The former Leicester City player was the only notable absentee as the Warriors returned to training on Friday after shelving their one-day strike.

The players refused to train on Thursday demanding that their bonuses and allowances be paid by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA).

ZIFA paid the players on Thursday night hence their decision to return to training.
