Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi says the team still has a decent chance of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The West Africans now face an uphill task in their bid to qualify for the Mundial after they held South Africa to a 1-1 draw in Uyo on Friday.
Finidi George’s side now occupy fifth position on the Group C table with three points from three games.
“The group is still wide open, we still have a chance (to qualify),” he said after the game.
Ndidi said the team’s focus has shifted to Monday’s clash against Benin in Abidjan.
“We hope to get something in the second game,” he assured.
