Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Hadejia, Alhaji (Dr) Adamu Abubukar Maje, as the Amirul Hajj and leader of the Government delegation for the 2024 Hajj Exercise.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
Similarly, the Governor also approved the appointments of Alhaji Turaki Ibrahim, Alhaji Nasidi Ali, Alhaji Habibu Ubah Ringim and Dr. Abubukar Sani Birnin Kudu as members of the Amirul Hajj Team.
The statement said the appointments of the Amirul Hajj and members of his team were based on their individual track records of hard work, commitment, patriotism, trustworthiness and fear of Almighty Allah.
The SSG called on them to demonstrate those qualities in the discharge of the onerous task to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Government and the entire people of Jigawa State.
All the appointments take mmediate effect.
