16,000 applicants jostle for 270 police constable slots in Jigawa

About 16, 000 candidates have applied to fill the 270 police constable slots in Jigawa State.

The spokesman of the state police command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adamu, disclosed this to newsmen.

According to him: “Commissioner of Police A.T. Abdullahi reiterates that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and without any pecuniary obligation.”

He further assured that the process would be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability.

He also advises the applicants to be wary of online impostors, scammers, and other criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the process to dupe innocent applicants.

The Nigeria Police Force constable screening is scheduled to be held from January 8 to 29, 2024.
